We hope to see you at Caucus! Bring a friend or two!

Arrive early to check in, get your nametag, and find your precinct for the opening program.

We will then break out into precincts for the election of delegates, alternates, and precinct officers.

*If you are unable to attend, there will be an option to submit an 'absentee' delegate form in advance of Caucus.

2026 Precinct Delegate Allotments

Business at Caucus - Why we meet: 

1. Governors Preference Poll- aka Straw Poll will take place first.  
2. Gathering citizens, connecting with candidates and office holders. 
3. Elect the next Precinct Leaders- Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and so on.
4. Elect Delegates and alternates to represent the voters of the precinct.
5. Discuss issues and bring forward Resolutions, which will be shared with the party and elected leaders.
6. Recruit Election Judges, Volunteers, and gather financial support.

NOTE Waconia Precinct Delegations are determined by the 2024 election cycle vote for President, we will not be adjusting precincts until the next election cycle. 

Waconia, Minnesota, has recently updated its voting precincts due to population growth.  As of late 2025, the city added a fourth precinct (P-4) and adjusted boundaries for the 2026 elections.  FUTURE Precinct and voting locations for 2026 are listed below. 

• Precinct 1 — Waconia Senior Center at City Hall
• Precinct 2 — Paradise Commons at Lake Waconia Regional Park
• Precinct 3 — Waconia Ice Arena
• Precinct 4 — Waconia Fire Station
